Let’s Get Serious!
Commercial Evaporators
What Unit Is Right For Me?
The primary factor in choosing the right evaporator is size, but size is a complicated factor. The first consideration is the size of the unit itself. Do you have space for a 16′ evaporator?
Next to consider is the number of taps you plan to use and how many gallons you need to boil. For example do you have room for a 12′ unit and you need to boil 400 gallons an hour? A standard unit at that size will only boil 130 an hour. Not to worry Extreme Wave with 16″ flues and a Sap-Raider hit 434 gallons an hour at 4′ x 12′.
The last thing to consider is this. Why spend your time figuring numbers and sizes, this is our passion. Contact one of our many dealers or call direct. You do the work you love and we will do the work to help you do it better.

The Perfect Pan!
Syrup Pans
What Is The Right Pan For My Evaporator?
The finish pan on your evaporator unit can greatly effect the quality of your syrup. We offer two main options. Our entry level production pan is the Conventional Reverse Flo pan. For those sugar makers who want to take quality to the next level, we suggest the Cadillac of syrup pans our OSD syrup pan.
Conventional Reverse Flo
This is our standard entry level syrup pan. This pan is designed to be reversed daily between boils to reverse the direction in the finish pan draw. This will help prevent the build up of niter which can cause hot-spots and adversely effect the quality of your syrup.
Can be used with our raised flue, drop flue, or Extreme 16″ flue pans. Our Conventional Reverse Flo pan is made of the highest quality 20 gauge 304 mirror finish stainless steel.
The OSD Syrup Pan
This is truly the gold standard in syrup pans. Our one-side-draw OSD Syrup pan has been carefully designed and tested and redesigned to ensure the highest quality boil and finish. During the boil with the turn of a lever the flow direction of the syrup can be reversed pulling off niter build up.
Both compartments provide cross flow.

The Fiercest Flames!
Furnace Arch
The Right Arch For My Evaporator
We have spent years building, testing and rebuilding through an iterative design process to make the highest quality, most consistent arches we can.
Standard Raised/Drop Arch
These are our standard arch. All arches are fabricated in our factory of steel and 304 stainless steel. All our arches have heavy duty air tight doors front and back and heavy duty steel grates. Front door to load fuel and the rear to access flues for cleaning. These arch will work with either the JDL, Panther, or Extreme flue pans. We offer insulation and brick installation on most units. For greater efficiency these units use insulation behind the bricks.
Extreme Heat Wave Furnace
The Extreme Heat Wave furnace is the most consistent wood-fire furnace in the industry. This unit comes with dual fire chambers so you can load one while the other keeps blazing. Our clean burn system optimizes gasification keeping an even burn and greatly increase the efficiency of the evaporator.
The Extreme Heat Wave comes pre-bricked and lined with ultra high temp fireboard, forced air fans and rheostat preinstalled in the factory. This turn key furnace is the best choice of wood-fired furnaces for efficiency and ease of operation.
Works with our raised, dropped, or combination Extreme flue pans. To further bolster the boil rate consider pairing with our Sap Raider, pre-heater, and hood. This is an Extreme furnace for maximized quality syrup production.
Maxiflame Furnace
The Maxiflame furnace is uniquely designed with a double wall air insulated front with a unique air flow design to keep the front cool. Our forced air secondary burn system encourages gasification in the furnace creating an even burn, eliminating smoke, and increasing efficiency.
The Maxiflame works great with raised, dropped, and Extreme flue pans. Standard skirted sides make this one of our most attractive unit.
Forced Air
Our forced air system has been developed through years of trial and error, engineering and research to find the perfect balance of air throughout the burn chamber to maximize efficiency. Air flow just before the gases reach the flue provide efficient gasification and a secondary burn. This eliminates smokey exhaust and while keeping higher temps in the flue where you need it.

Sap Raider Includes:
Sap Raider Unit 26 1/2″ tall
2″ Valve connection to flue pan
